When I made my YouTube of Adi, below, I couldn't help but think of "the Lion and the Lamb." We sing this song quite often in our church services.

We sing this song (above) often in church. There also have been famous sermons preached on the lion and the lamb the thoughts generally come from Revelation 5:5-6:(link)

5And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Here Jesus is both the Lion and the Lamb.

He is the Lion who will Jesus Christ will come again and will appear as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He will appear . . . and the earth shall tremble before him, and the hills shall melt (
Rev. 19:11-17; 20:11).

Jesus Christ will at the same time appear as a Lamb to his saints. (Revelation 5:6 above-

The lyrics to Chris Tomilin's song (

Artist: Chris Tomlin

Album: Arriving

Track: How Great is Our God

The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice

He wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end

The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb

Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Comments:
Adi sure looks like he is having a ball.

Have a great week.

Adi can... tear up all her toys.

Adi really loves that bear! Shake it and then lick it! Then shake it some more! It's cute with it's little fat belly!!

How old is Adi? I notice the Senior dogfood bag and wondered.

Why didn't you entertain us with your voice on the video instead of just the TV on???

Thanks for the verses and the song. Very lovely words and does remind one of Adi and the bear in a way!

Rachel, I have been kicked out a choir, way back in 1961. From a very nice Methodist church choir in Manchester, New Hampshire.
I had to audition after singing for about a month, after which I was informed that I had a 'bad ear' and the director would rather not have me in his choir.

Adi is eleven (11). Mrs. Jim bought her that Senior Dog Chow, she likes them.

And Ray, Adi's bears from WalMart ($4.94 or so) last almost two years. For those who don't know, Rar is a distant [70 miles] relative of mine.

Jan, Adi is a girl. She has lived ten of her eleven years with us.
..

That is a great worship song.

Adi is very spry for her age. Cute, too.

This video is so cute Jim!
If the robins had of seen how gentle Adi was cleaning up the stuffed animal they might of been under the tree eating those red berries right beside Adi!!........from Terry

Adi has such gentle eyes!
